Dear Jack:
Don't drop over when you read this letter and find I for once really got on the ball. Every one is fine, including the baby, he sure is a cute kid, our "Chuck" is crazy about him and believe it or not, he is not jealous a bit. Helen received your letter and boy was she tickled, but I believe it might be a good idea if you dropped "Sue" a line, as I believe she was just a little hurt. I am still at Proters, and I quit drinking (HA HA) last nigt at 12:30 o'clock P.M. boy what a package and brother believeme, I had only tongue for breakfast and I guess it will be that way for a few days. Hilda said "Between my breathe, and some ratled beer farts, it was making her sick at the stomach. I am at work now and am I sick even the nurse down here gave one look at me and called Clouse" the undertaker from Springdale. To-morrow is "Sue's" birthday so drop her a line.
I will write you again soon, so take good care of yourself, and I hope we will all get to see you soon, and love from all.
Dad
P.S. I don't suppose the cut ankle could have come from the same stuff as gives me the headache.
